Dubai Land Department sponsors fifth cycle of Princess Haya Award for Special Education
 

Dubai, 30 March 2015: Dubai Land Department (DLD) signed a sponsorship agreement with the Princess Haya Award for Special Education (PHASE) to host its fifth cycle which is scheduled to take place on 22nd and 23rd of April 2015. One day symposium is schedule to take place on 22nd April at Dubai Knowledge Village and Award Ceremony & Gala Night on the following day at Madinat Jumeirah.

At the signing ceremony, HE Majida Ali Rashid, Assistant Director General, DLD said: "We are delighted and honored to be able to provide full support to the fifth cycle of the Princess Haya Award for Special Education. This extremely worthy initiative enables us to show our deep level of commitment to one of the most important sectors of our community. Through the partnership of Dubai Land Department and the organizing committee of the Award, we are proud to be able to work towards the Award’s goals, which are to achieve greater success in the special education sector. Our ongoing relationship with the Princess Haya Award will benefit children with special needs who require assistance to help them integrate effectively into society. Although a vital component, this activity is just one aspect of our extensive social responsibility programme, which comprises a comprehensive array of initiatives that cater to the community.”

Mohammed Al Emadi, Head of Executive Committee, of PHASE award expressed his gratitude to Dubai Land Department for joining hands with PHASE, commending on the role of Dubai Land Department in community development and building community bridges to support one another. He also highlighted that the award program aims to promote special education services and rewarding people working in the field, as well as enticing social roles of public and private sectors and encouraging them to provide strategic support to the Centers for special education. The program also inspires national, administrative and technical staff to exert more efforts to excel in the services offered to the special needs.
